Celebrating Ireland Reads with Illustrator Shannon Bergin

We are delighted to announce that illustrator, Shannon Bergin, will visit the newly refurbished Kilbeggan Library to celebrate Ireland Reads day on Saturday 28th February. 

This Mask Workshop will include a short presentation on design principles such as shape language, colour design and symbolism, and how these ideas are used in popular books and movies as well as through Shannon’s own work. Participants will use worksheets and templates to create masks based on these concepts and colour them using colour theory principles to tell their story.

This event is suitable for children aged 4-10 and booking is essential.
