Do you have arts & crafts supplies you no longer need? Donate them to our swap, or come along and see what you can pick up and be inspired by. For this event we will also have some drop-in weaving on a cardboard loom. No need to book, and you'll get to bring your project home if you would like.
Did you know that people in Ireland generate over 14 million tonnes of waste annually? One simple way to reduce this impact is by reusing and repurposing items we no longer need. However, finding new homes for arts and crafts supplies can be tricky. Many of us dive into new creative hobbies, buying materials and tools, only to discover they’re not quite for us—leaving behind unused supplies in search of a purpose.
Why not give your unwanted/unused materials a new creative home by donating them to our swap, and see what new inspirations you can pick up at the same time.
What should you donate?
This is all about swapping useful material, so please only bring supplies that other people can use.
We welcome
fabric - needles - wool - crochet hooks - embroidery hoops - stich markers - sketchbooks - clean brushes - tools in working order - patterns - paints - glue - markers - crayons - threads - buttons - new or gently used craft supplies
Please do not bring items that don’t work, are in need of repair, are dirty, smelly, or hazardous
No old pillows, duvets, cut-up t-shirts/clothes
